While I enjoyed it overall and will probably go see it a few more times in theaters, I had a few issues with the pacing and dense structure. Like - Hulk! One of the best parts of this movie is the Hulk, they finally handled him correctly, he is so badass, and kicks everyone's ass - including even Loki! That entire final battle at the end was awesome, pure summer blockbuster entertainment to watch, especially with an audience, as they're cheering every 10 minutes when something crazy happens. That forest fight early on was incredible. Joss Whedon does the absolute best job he can balancing the ensemble of characters, giving each of them time to play and fight with each other and so on. It is such a huge relief that it actually delivers to begin with, but it goes beyond that, and kicks ass on so many levels. To fuel the fire, I've seen Marvel's The Avengers twice, and it still kicks serious ass. ![]() We also encourage all commenters to keep major spoilers from the film to a minimum.
